From browsing to driving, in six steps.
Renting monthly is straightforward, but it is not instant. Every application is reviewed by a person. Here is exactly what happens.

View the cars
Browse the vehicles currently offered by LR Vehicle Rentals. Each one shows its monthly price, security deposit, included mileage and current availability, so you know the numbers before you go any further.
Nothing is reserved at this stage.
- 02
Submit an application
Complete the application form with your personal, driving and rental details. It asks for the information we need to make an initial assessment, and takes a few minutes. The form does not ask you to upload any documents.
You will see a confirmation on screen with your reference.

Application review
We review every application manually. There is no automatic approval and no instant decision. A member of the LR Vehicle Rentals team will contact you to talk through your application.

Licence and identity checks
If your application looks suitable, we ask you to send your driving licence, photo identification, proof of address and a DVLA share code through WhatsApp. We then complete the DVLA check and confirm your details with the insurer.
Documents go through WhatsApp, never through this website.

Approval and agreement
Approved applicants receive the final rental information and the rental agreement through DocuSign. Read it properly. It sets out the deposit terms, the mileage allowance, the insurance excess and what you are responsible for.
Approval remains subject to the insurer's criteria.

Payment and collection
You pay the first rental period and the security deposit before collecting the vehicle. Bank transfer and cash are both accepted, and cash payments are receipted. Once payment has cleared and the agreement is signed, we arrange collection.
Do not send payment until your application has been approved.
Submitting an application does not reserve the vehicle or guarantee approval. Vehicle availability is updated regularly but is not guaranteed until your application has been approved, payment has been received and the rental agreement has been signed.
